Introduced into America for its silkworm culture.
Drought tolerant, pollutant tolerant, and also tolerant of poor soil
Will grow well in a pot.
Height up to 80ft.
Fruits when young.
Fruit is very sweet.
Self pollinating.
Deep loam well drained soil
Although drought tolerant they need water in dry season. If roots get too dry the fruit drops off.
