A house can look old and stately with this Ivy growing up it. It turns red in Autumn. 

Not to be confused with common Ivy. 

It is easy to kill off if it grows to vigorous. Just snip the roots. 

But as it is a vigorous grower, you can cover sheds, or unsightly things with it quite quickly.
